There comes a point in life when you realise that the journey is no longer just about reaching a destination. It becomes about the people you meet, the places that change you, and the stories that stay with you long after the road disappears behind you.

Travels with Tau is the next chapter of my life.

After more than twenty years as a chiropractor and a lifetime of exploring the world, I have begun bringing together my greatest passions—health, adventure, wildlife, curiosity and storytelling.

At the heart of every journey is Tau, my Toyota Hilux. More than just a vehicle, Tau is a trusted companion that will carry me across some of Africa's most remarkable landscapes, from remote deserts and mountain passes to wildlife reserves and coastal roads.

This journey isn't simply about overlanding.It's about discovering the people who call these places home, learning from different cultures, exploring Africa's extraordinary wildlife, and asking questions that often have no simple answers. Along the way, I'll also continue sharing insights about health, movement, resilience and living well—because every journey teaches us something about ourselves.

Whether I'm sitting beside a campfire in Namibia, watching elephants cross a river in Botswana, hiking through the mountains of South Africa, or reflecting on life after another day behind the wheel, every story will have a purpose.

Some will make you laugh.
Some will make you think.
